Statistical Study on Acute Glomerulonephritis in Children

Abstract

|
In past five years, from May 1954 to October 1969, 37 patients are treated at Han-Il Hospital by radiation with T. A. O. Applicator. More than 50% of cases are disease of Stage III and stage I, II and IV are 6, 10 and 2 cases respectively.
7, 000-9, 000 R and 4,000-6, 000 R are delivered to point A and B, respectively,, by intracavitary and external irradiation during 4-8 weeks overall time. . ´
8 cases are expired and 9 cases are lost. More than 5 years are passed in 2 cases after treatment and . both-are survived.
Follow up study is complete in cases less than 2 years after treatment, however it may not be significant statically to consider 3, 4 and 5 year survival rate because of difficulties of follow up and small number of case
